We know that there's more to picking a campervan than just price. There are sizes, features, styles, and bonus extras to take into consideration. That's why we've used our experience (nearly 20years worth), to create a campervan or motorhome to match.
Plus, we custom-fit our campervans and have spent nearly two decades perfecting what should go in them. That experience counts for a lot, you'll see.
Our branch airport shuttle runs on demand during JUCY business hours, and the last shuttle leaves the airport 30 minutes before closing time.
Want a free ride? Here are three easy steps to get our absolutely FREE shuttle from Hobart International Airport to our JUCY branch to pick up your campervan rental:
Step 1
Get off the plane, stretch your legs, and smell the incredible Tasmania air for the first time!
Step 2
Collect your bags and call us on 1800 150 850. Select option #1, then #3 to request your free shuttle transfer.

OMG! You made it. Yay. Here’s what you need to know about picking up your JUCY campervan in Hobart.
FREE SHUTTLE FROM HOBART AIRPORT
If you’ve come from the airport, you’re welcome to ride with us on our free shuttle bus! Read the tab to the left to find out how.
GET TO KNOW YOUR RIDE
We’ll get the un-JUCY paperwork out the way ASAP as we’re not a stuffy company (does the green and purple campervan give that away?). After that, it’s the fun part where we show you around your new home for the next-however-many-days! A vehicle show-through is awesome for us too, as we love to reveal where we stored all the cool hidden extras.
If you’re feeling a bit nervous about driving on the other side of the road we can help you out. Just talk to our friendly crew.
LOCAL TRAVEL ADVICE
Take advantage of our free travel advice, too. From holiday parks to top spots to visit. We get super excited sharing where to go in the area (and eat, we’redefinitely food-motivated).
PICK-UP HOURS
Although we’re open a bit later, we do ask that you reach us an hour before we close. That means by 4:30 pm on weekdays and 1:30 pm on weekends.
After-hours pick-up is unavailable until further notice.
Awww, we have to say goodbye? Okay, let’s make it brief. Follow these steps:
Drive to our branch at 1 Hawkesford Road, Cambridge, Hobart. We recommend timing your drop off with at least 45 minutes from the time you need to be at the airport.
Remember to fuel up! If you forget, a quick backtrack to the BP at Hobart Airport will sort you out.
Next, grab your belongings out of your campervan. Experience tells us that, unless you’re super organised, you’llprobably find one sandal under a seat, your togs wrapped in one of our towels, and an important document in a seat back. We’d love it if you also cleared out your rubbish at the same time.
Hand in your campervan keys to our friendly JUCY crew.
Once the above steps are complete, jump on the next shuttle bus to the airport. We’ll try not to shed a tear as we wave goodbye.
All the campervan rentals must be returned within office hours. After-hours service is not available at this location.
Hobart is well known for its majestic mountain – Mount Wellington – and the Derwent River which flows for more than 200 kilometres. Take a cruise, sail, or kayak on the river, or hike up the mountain for spectacular views over the island.
Feeling less energetic? Check out the famous Salamanca markets and feast on fresh produce, or wander among the stalls to pick up a souvenir of your road trip.
As you explore Tasmania don’t miss getting up close to nature in one of the many National Parks. Once you've picked up your motorhome hire Hobart is your gateway to walks, biking or hiking surrounded by breathtaking views and wildlife. Or if you fancy some more time on the water hop on a ferry to Bruny Island and take a walk through the island's pristine wilderness and lookout at The Neck to see if you can spot the Fairy Penguins and short-tailed shearwaters that nest in the area.
There’s so much to see and do, and our perfectly designed Crib camper makes the perfect partner for a Tasmanian roadie with its compact size making it economical on petrol and with unlimited kilometres thrown in too! Here are some must-see spots to add to your Tasmania road trip:
When you're cruising around Hobart in your campervan, you’ve got to check out the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. This is one of Australia’s oldest botanical gardens just a quick drive from the city centre. The gardens spread out over 14 hectares, giving you heaps of space to stretch your legs and soak in the natural beauty. It's the perfect place for a picnic, so pack some sammies and chill on the lush lawns.
There are plenty of interesting displays about Tassie’s unique plants, so you might even learn a thing or two. With plenty of parking for your campervan, it’s an easy and relaxing pit stop on your Tassie adventure. Finish the day wandering the Salamanca Market to unwind with a cold one and toast to the adventures of the day!
When you're ready to head out and explore Tasmania's national parks, set your GPS for Ben Lomond National Park. Just a couple of hours from Hobart, this spot is a gem for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike.
The park boasts Tasmania’s second-highest peak and stunning alpine scenery that’ll knock your socks off. If hiking, rock climbing, or simply soaking up jaw-dropping views is your thing, Ben Lomond delivers big time. The drive up Jacobs Ladder—a winding, hair-raising road—is a bit of a white-knuckle ride, but the panoramic views at the top are worth every twist and turn. Eat your lunch with an epic view and enjoy the crisp mountain air, or, if it’s winter, grab your skis and hit the slopes.
With your campervan parked nearby, you can easily explore the trails and wildlife before settling down for a cozy night, basking in the serenity of the Tasmanian wilderness. It’s the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation!
While you’re roaming Tasmania’s West Coast in your campervan, make sure to hit up Strahan. This charming little town is a true gem, offering a mix of history, adventure, and stunning natural beauty.
Nestled on the edge of the vast Macquarie Harbour, Strahan is the perfect base for exploring the wild west. Hop on a Gordon River cruise and glide through ancient rainforests and mirror-like waters, or take a thrilling jet boat ride for a dose of adrenaline. Stroll around the historic port, check out the local shops, and enjoy some fresh seafood at a waterfront cafe. The sunsets here are absolutely epic, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink. With your campervan parked nearby, you can soak in the serene vibes, fall asleep to the sound of the waves, and wake up ready for another day of Tasmanian adventures. Strahan is a little slice of paradise you won’t want to miss!

This iconic spot is the crown jewel of Tassie’s wilderness, offering some of the most breathtaking scenery you’ll ever lay eyes on. With its rugged peaks and crystal-clear lakes, Cradle Mountain is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. Whether you’re up for tackling the famous Overland Track or just fancy a leisurely stroll around Dove Lake, there’s something for everyone. Don’t forget your camera because the views here are nothing short of spectacular. Wildlife is everywhere too—keep an eye out for cute wombats and echidnas.
